Introduction and Birth Story

I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but never got around to it... So I figured now that I have Ry, it would really be a good time to start. I want to be able to look at this months and years down the road and remember how blessed I have been in the past couple of months.

S and I met in April of 2008 and started dating in July. (Funny story, my best friend was his girl friend at the time... She broke up with him, started dating another guy that night, he and I started talking and became very close friends and decided to start dating!) We were engaged by May of 2009 and married May of 2010. (05-15-10) It was an amazing wedding. I don't think I could have asked for more. My parents were a God send getting everything together.

March 5th, I found out I was pregnant!! Not exactly how we wanted things to happen especially so close to the wedding. But it was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy. My only complaint was in the first trimester I stayed nauseated. But I swear, the day I hit my second trimester, it was perfect!

October 14th, S and I were on our way to my weekly appointment when I fell going down the stairs of our porch. I don't think I have ever been that scared in my life. S said he has never heard anyone scream like that. We went straight to my appointment, she checked me and sent me straight to the hospital. The ER checked my back and butt bone to make sure nothing was fractured or messed up. The Dr that saw me in the ER sent me right over to L&D to be monitored for an hour. 4 tubes of blood, 1 sonogram, 1 huge glass of ice water and 1 hr of monitoring later, they sent me home deeming Ry okay. My mom, S and I went out to dinner after all this 4 hour escapade. S and I went home, and I nursed my behind... Good Lord did it hurt!! I seriously had a black bruise not even 20 minutes after I fell.

The next day was S and my 5 month ann of our wedding, so we went out to Applebees with my parents just to get out and relax. We had to stop and get some things at WalMart. I was wore out when we were walking around and told S that I had to go home. I was really not feeling good...
